That might be a plausible reaction to the news. After all, it's been years since the second part of the synchronicity series came out. So, I'm sure many did not believe that it would ever be continued. Well, you've just been proven wrong seeing as the third part came out 12/19/2012. Ironically, a few days before the world was supposed to end.

Though to be honest, the third part didn't make too much sense to me. After all, what happened to Kaito, Meiko, Gakupo, Luka and the others?!

I was so happy when the the third Synchronicity song came out! I was reading the novel but it didn't make much sense because the translation isn't particularly clear. But oh well!
Yes, there is a novel for Synchronicity. Why do you think the songs explain so little about everyone else? It's cause the novel explains everything for them.
