Brick by Bloody Brick           Plip plop go the silver tears that drip to the ground.
           Pitter patter go the rats as they scurry across the stained concrete.
           Kaw kaw go the ravens as their skeletal claws grip onto the spindly branches of roses.  
          Bones, laced with stretched flesh, emerge from the shadows of the night as fingers, illuminated by the scarlet moon above. Following in suit was a face as gaunt as a ghoul with hollowed eyes and an emaciated figure. Despite the scrawny appearance, it was female. Her semblance was that of a half starved angel. At first glance, her skin looked as though it were made of porcelain. However, to touch would reveal much more. What was once deemed as ‘flesh’ was in all actuality, stone: pasty white stone shaped into such a beautiful grotesque form.

EDIT: So I just found out that the person I referenced these walking icons is ~uiri So I won't be offering this style of icons for commissions. :D Nor will I be making any more in this style. ^^

Plus, I forgot to mention, I had talked to ~uiri who had been the one who made those icons. And she told me it was fine to keep them on my deviant art account since they are free. Thank you for the concern. :)

This is just my honest opinion but they looked more like edited and recolored than referenced.

The word referenced is used when you created a completly new thing using an existing idea.. but what your doing is just changing colors and details from an existing icon . I did a over layer and it matches meaning its the same base just altered.
:/ Im a pixel artist myself and this is not a pixel icon reference at all. just saying.

Yes I do know the similarities. Thank you. :) And I have talked to the actual person who had made this. I'm not going to make any more of these types of icons and would prefer not to get into a debate about it as this is something that has been talked about with ~uiri months ago. :) Once again, thank you for the concern and sticking up for other deviants.
